The EV-100 Power autopilot system consists of the revolutionary EV-sensor core, the fully-sealed and compact ACU-100, a P70R control interface, and Raymarine’s new highly efficient 0.5 litre hydraulic pump. This pack includes:

  • The EV-1 Sensor Core is designed for Evolution mechanical and hydraulic autopilot systems. SEATALKng networking enables a single cable connection for power and data to the Evolution ACU (actuator control unit) and extended SEATALKng and NMEA2000 networks.
  • ACU-100 - With the ACU-100 Raymarine brings the exceptional performance of Evolution Autopilots to sport boats, runabouts and smaller cruising yachts. Specifically designed to complement Raymarine’s unique wheel-drive and tiller-drive applications, the ACU-100 provides a powerful and secure interface between steering systems and the revolutionary EV-1 course computer and 9-axis sensor. As a true world-first innovation, the ACU-100 is fully sealed so may be mounted above decks on boats where space is limited.
  • The p70 Autopilot Control Head (Sail) is a push-button operation controller designed primarily for sailboats. Advanced LED backlighting offers low power consumption and delivers vibrant colour and contrast. Wide horizontal and vertical viewing angles ensure the display can be seen clearly from acute positions. The p70 control head also features the LightHouse user interface and a start up wizard to help you configure the pilot quickly and easily.
  • 0.5ltr Hydraulic Pump(12V) - The 0.5ltr Hydraulic Pump is intended to operate the boat’s steering mechanism as part of a Raymarine autopilot system. It is primarily designed for use on boats with an existing hydraulic steering system. Alternatively, you can use this pump on a boat with mechanical steering in conjunction with a secondary steering ram. The hydraulic pump contains a precision gear pump and a check valve driven by a servo motor.
  • Evolution AI - The culmination of Raymarine’s 30 years of autopilot expertise, FLIR Systems research and development, and advanced aerospace guidance technology, Evolution AI control algorithms deliver a new level of accurate autopilot control. This innovative breakthrough in autopilot intelligence enables Evolution autopilots to perceive their environment and then instantly calculate and evolve steering commands to maximise performance. The result is precise and confident course keeping, regardless of vessel speed or sea conditions.

EV-1 Cockpit and Inboard Autopilots

EV-1 autopilots consist of a Control Head, EV-1 Sensor, Autopilot Control Unit (ACU) and drive unit. The drive unit (inboard mechanical/ hydraulic or cockpit mounted) and correct ACU for your vessel is dependent on the steering system and displacement of the vessel itself.
EV-2 for Drive-by-Wire Propulsion

EV-2 has been designed for the latest drive-by-wire steering systems and connects directly to Raymarine's SeaTalkng bus. EV-2 also has a dedicated CAN Bus port for direct connection to steer-by-wire steering systems - such as ZF Pod Drives, Yamaha Helm Master, Volvo IPS and SeaStar Solutions Optimus systems. A single CAN Bus connection to the EV-2 eliminates the need for an Autopilot Control Unit (ACU)
